Simple steps to future planning: If you don't have a will, this is for you!
An estate planning session for seniors who do not yet have a will ... for those people who are procrastinating taking care of their planning ... this would be a very basic and non-threatening program ... explaining the importance of estate planning through the use of stories/examples of things that happened to other people who did not prepare ... everything from having the medical directives in place to putting your home in a trust so if you need to go into a nursing home or have major medical bills it's protected for a spouse or the estate ... without a will your children can be required to pay your medical and other bills which would be an unfair burden on them ... etc. Some people think they don't need a will because they don't have much ... this would help them think again with stories about how difficult probate is on your family. And how you don't want to give away your hard earned money to the government if you have children you want it to go to.

Wyatt, this is a great idea! Thank you for sharing your insight on something that people often overlook until it's too late. We'll definitely consider how we can get this information out to our customers and the community.

I see Jessica replied to this idea long time ago. It looks that nothing happened since. Probably because they were only two people interested. My wife and me would consider any lessons / teaching about the will and placing the house in a trust. Thanks
