Line of Credit (Home Equity Loan)

We have a "line of credit" home equity loan with you and I noticed it was going to mature on 9/15/2011. As of 9/2/11, we never received any notice of the maturity or what we needed to do to renew or extend the loan. We went to the bank and were told we needed to "re-apply." I feel that you need to notify your customers well in advance of the maturity date so that they can decide whether they want to renew or close. We are now scrambling to fill out the application, attach documents, have home appraised, etc.
